1. The Petitioner's case shall be first considered by the Secretary to Government, Excise Department. For that purpose, a copy of the present writ petition shall be interested to the said authority within two weeks. The said authority after hearing the Petitioner will pass an appropriate order on the prayer of the present Petitioner not later than 2nd January, 2023 taking into account the orders already passed by this Court in similar matters. Copy of the said order shall be made available to the Petitioner within a week thereafter. If aggrieved by such order, it would be open to the Petitioner to seek appropriate remedies in accordance with law. The Court clarifies that it has not expressed any view in the matter.

2. The writ petition is disposed of in the above terms.
