Mr. Swain, learned advocate appears on behalf of petitioners Order No.

and submits, his clients' drug licence expired during the pandemic. His clients belatedly applied for renewal as he himself was infected with the COVID-19. Pursuant to the application his clients have also made representation dated 9th February, 2022. In the representation his clients referred to suo motu cognizance order dated 23rd September, 2021 passed by the Supreme Court. He submits, there be direction for the representation to be considered by opposite party no.2. 2.

Mr. Panda, learned advocate, Additional Government Advocate appears on behalf of State.

Opposite party no.2 will consider and deal with the

// 2 // representation dated 9th February, 2022. In event said authority finds reason for the delay was prevention by happening of the pandemic and the statue provides for condonation, the order relied upon by petitioners, thereby, should be applied, to condone the delay and issue the licence. Either way petitioners must be informed within three weeks of communication.

The writ petition is disposed of.
