The petitioner is in custody since 25.01.2022 in connection with Tihidi P.S. Case No.05 of 2021 corresponding to G.R. Case No.21 of 2021 pending in the Court of learned J.M.F.C., Bhadrak for the alleged commission of offence under Sections 457/302/506/34 of IPC.

Considering the severity of allegations and the existence of materials prima facie in support thereof, I am not inclined to allow the prayer for bail, which is therefore, rejected. It is however open to the petitioner to renew his prayer for bail after examination of the informant.

BLAPL is accordingly rejected.
