Mr. L. Samantaray, Additional Government Advocate states that in compliance of the order dated 6th October, 2020 passed by this Court in W.P. (C) No. 19008 of 2020, the amounts to be paid have been ascertained and three cheques and another amount to be transferred through RTGS has been prepared/ kept aside, and is awaiting the auspicious presence of the Petitioner in person to facilitate the payment.

In response, counsel for the Petitioner assures that his client would visit the Office of the Executive Engineer, Rural Works, Nimapada in the district of Puri on any working day during the next week to collect the same.

In view of the above, the contempt proceeding is dropped, however liberty is granted to the Petitioner to seek the revival of the contempt by making proper application, if any cause of action still survives.
