This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned State counsel.

The petitioner is an accused in G.R. Case No.2159 of 2020, on the files of S.D.J.M., Puri, arising out of Gadisagada (Jodapadar) P.S. Case No.90 of 2020, under Sections 498A,302,304-B and 34 of the IPC read with Section 4 of the D.P. Act, 1961 and is in custody since 07.08.2020. 4.

Being aggrieved by the rejection of his application for bail U/s.439 Cr.P.C. by the learned Court of 1st Additional District & Sessions Judge, Puri, by order dated 29.01.2021 in the aforementioned case, the present BLAPL has been filed.

Considering the materials on record and taking into account that the petitioner is the father-in-law and in custody since 07.08.2020 this Court directs that the petitioner shall be released on bail on such terms to be fixed by the learned Court in seisin of the matter.

Accordingly, the BLAPL stands disposed of.

Urgent certified copy of this order be granted as per rule.
