This matter is taken up through hybrid arrangement (virtual/physical mode).

This is the successive journey of this petitioner, who is in custody in connection with Patnagarh P.S. Case No.245 of 2020 corresponding to G.R. Case No.957 of 2020 arising out of Sessions Case No.28 of 2021 pending in the Court of the learned Additional Sessions Judge, Patnagarh for offence punishable under sections 458/302/120(B)/34, I.P.C. read with section 25/27 of the Arms act in filing this application under section 439, Cr.P.C. for his release on bail.

Upon hearing the learned counsel for the petitioner and on going through the materials available on record further keeping in view the roles said to have been played by this Petitioner as also the background as those emanate from the materials on record, I do not find it to be fit case for reconsideration of the prayer for grant of bail to the Petitioner.

However, keeping in view the submission of the learned counsel for the Petitioner that since 18.11.2020, the Petitioner is in custody, it is hereby observed that the trial court would do well to

// 2 // take all effective steps as provided in law for early conclusion of trial.

The BLAPL is accordingly dismissed.
