This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

This writ petition has been filed for a direction for early disposal of RMC No. 515 of 2020 filed under Rule 43 of the Orissa Survey and Settlement Rules, 1962 (for short 'the Rules') before the Tahasildar, Jatani-Opposite Party No.2.

Mr. Biswal, learned counsel for the Petitioner submits that this Court has disposed of a writ petition of similar nature in W.P.(C) No.4964 of 2022 filed by the present Petitioner, vide order dated 16th March, 2022 and directed disposal of the RMC Case involved therein within a period of one month from the date of production of certified copy of the said order, if there is no legal impediment. Hence, he prays for disposal of the present writ petition in the light of the said order.

However, Mr. Mishra, learned Additional Standing Counsel submits that he has no instruction regarding pendency of RMC No. 515 of 2020 filed under Rule 43 of the Rules. 5.

In view of the above, this Court disposes of this writ petition with a direction to the Tahasildar, Jatani-Opposite Party No.2 to

// 2 // take up RMC No. 515 of 2020 and make an endeavour for early disposal of the same preferably within a period of four month from the date of production of certified copy of this order, if the same is still pending and there is no legal impediment. Urgent certified copy of this order be granted on proper application.
