1. Learned counsel for the Petitioner states that he will file an application to the Government for consideration of his case in light of the letter dated 20th November, 2017, a copy of which has been placed on record with a memo by the Petitioner filed today.

2. If such application is made not later than 5th December, 2022, the decision thereon shall be communicated to the Petitioner by the Government within four weeks thereafter.

3. The writ petition is disposed of in the above terms.
