1. Learned counsel for the Petitioner states that he will withdraw the writ petition with liberty to approach the Excise Commissioner regarding interchangeability in terms of the earlier policy. If such application is filed not later than 6th February, 2023 then it would be considered on its merits by the Excise Commissioner and after hearing the Petitioner, a reasoned order should be passed within a period of four weeks thereafter. Till disposal of the application, the interim order passed by this Court in this petition will continue. The Court clarifies that it has not expressed any view in the matter.

2. The writ petition is disposed of as withdrawn in the above terms.
