Heard learned counsel for the Parties.

By way of this Writ Petition, a serious allegation is made that in spite of repeated threatening of eviction depending an order involving an encroachment proceeding and an Appeal being filed registered as Encroachment Appeal No.6 of 2022 on the File of the Sub-Collector, Sadar, Sambalpur, the Appeal is not being taken up and in the process, the Petitioner is unable to get interim protection. 3.
Mr.Ghoshe, learned Additional Standing Counsel for the State here claims that the Public Authorities are now busy in Election and there may be an impediment in undertaking the Appeal exercise.

Considering the rival contentions of the Parties and finding the threat of eviction in spite of pendency of Appeal at the instance
// 2 // of the Petitioner, this Court while disposing of the Writ Petition observes, status quo in respect of the disputed property as on date shall be maintained at least for a period of three weeks, within which period the Appellate Authority shall do well in disposing of the interim request aspect.
