The contempt petition is filed bringing it to the notice of this Court that the direction contained in the order dated 6th November, 2020 passed in W.P.(C) No. 28803 of 2020 in connection with award dated 30th September, 2014 passed by the learned Civil Judge (Sr. Division), Bhawanipatna in the district Kalahandi in L.A.R. No.90 of 2014 has not been complied with. 3.
This Court while disposing of the said writ petition, directed the Special Land Acquisition Officer, Upper Indravati Irrigation Project, Kusumkhunti in the district of Kalahandi (Opposite Party
// 2 // No.3) for taking expeditious steps for disbursement of the compensation amount.

At the time of hearing today, Mr. L. Samantaray, Additional Government Advocate furnished a copy of letter bearing No. WRLA-LAND-0018-2022-20538/WR, dated 4thAugust, 2022 issued by the Director R & R & Ex-Officio, Additional Secretary to Government of Odisha in Department of Water Resources and submitted that the direction contained in the order dated 6th November, 2020 passed in W.P.(C) No. 28803 of 2020 has been complied with.

In view of the aforesaid submission, this Court does not find wilful or deliberate disobedience of the aforesaid order passed in the writ petition. Further proceeding in the contempt is, therefore, not warranted and hence, the contempt petition is disposed of.
