This matter is taken up through Hybrid arrangement (video conferencing/physical mode). Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State.

This is an application under section 438, Cr.P.C. for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in connection with Balasore Sadar P.S. Case No.38 of 2021 corresponding to C.T. Case No.104 of 2021 pending in the Court of learned J.M.F.C. (Rural), Balasore for alleged commission of offences under sections 427/323/506/436 of the Indian Penal Code. Considering the submission made by the learned counsel for the State that during course of investigation, no direct evidence was found as to who set fire the shop of the informant in question and the

// 2 // fact that the petitioner has been granted interim protection since 16.03.2021 and there is no material that he has misutilized his liberty, the interim order dated 16.03.2021 is made absolute.

The ABLAPL is accordingly disposed of.
