Mr. Rout, learned advocate appears on behalf of petitioner and submits, there should be enhancement of compensation paid to his client on death of his son. He submits, his client seeks the enhancement in line with notification dated 20th October, 2018. 2.

Mr. Panda, learned advocate, Additional Government Advocate appears on behalf of State and submits, there is no notification regarding enhancement, to cover the unfortunate case of death of petitioner's son. The notification relied upon is in respect of women victims and State cannot act beyond authority or source of power. 3.

On above record of submissions, the writ petition is disposed of.
