This matter is taken up through Hybrid Arrangement (Virtual/Physical Mode).

Heard learned counsel for the Petitioner as well as learned counsel for the State.

The writ petition filed with the following prayer: "The petitioner therefore prays that your Lordship may graciously be pleased to admit this Writ Petition, issue notice to the opp. Parties by considering the facts and grounds stated above a direction may given to the opp. Parties for giving an engagement to the petitioner being a land oustee as per the agreement between the parties. And further be pleased to direct the Opp. Party No.8, Labour Officer, Keonjhar to dispose of the representation dated 30.09.2021 under Annexure-5 at an early date; xx xx xx."

Learned counsel for the Petitioner submits that ventilating his grievance, Petitioner has filed a representation before the District Labour Officer, Keonjhar, Opposite Party No.8, dated 13.09.2021. It is submitted that the said representation is pending before the

// 2 // Authority till date and no decision has been taken on such representation.

Learned counsel for the State on the other hand submits that he has no objection if a direction is given to the Authority to consider and dispose of the said representation of the Petitioner within specific period of time.

Considering the limited nature of grievance and considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court directs the Opposite Party No.8 to consider the representation of the Petitioner dated 13.09.2021 (Annexure-8) strictly in accordance with law within a period of two months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order. The Opposite Party No.8 shall dispose of the same by passing a speaking and reasoned order. Decision so taken be communicated to the Petitioner within a period of two weeks thereafter.

With the above direction, the writ petition stands disposed of.
