This matter is taken up through Hybrid mode.

At the outset, Mr. Sarangi, learned counsel for the Petitioner makes an oral prayer to implead State of Odisha through Principal Secretary, Revenue and Disaster Management, Bhubaneswar as a party to this case. 3.

Prayer is allowed.

Mr. Sarangi, learned counsel is permitted to implead State of Odisha in Revenue and Disaster Management Department, Bhubaneswar as Opposite Party No.2 to the writ petition in Court.

Petitioner in this writ petition prays for a early disposal of Mutation Case No.1629 of 2020 stated to be pending before Tahasildar, Betnoti-Opposite Party No.1.

Mr. Sarangi, learned counsel for the Petitioner submits that the Mutation Case is otherwise ready for hearing and there is no legal impediment for early disposal of the same. Neither any civil proceeding nor revenue nor any other proceeding is

// 2 // pending in respect of the land in question. Hence, a direction may be made for early disposal of the Mutation Case No.1629 of 2020 pending before Tahasildar, Betnoti-Opposite Party No.1.

Mr. Mishra, learned ASC submits that he has not been served with a copy of the writ petition. Hence, he is not in a position to take instruction in the matter.

Taking into consideration the innocuous nature of prayer made by learned counsel for the Petitioner, this Court disposes of the writ petition with a direction that the Tahasildar, BetnotiOpposite Party No.1 shall do well to consider and dispose of Mutation Case No. 1629 of 2020 stated to be pending before him in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of six months from the date of production of certified copy of this order giving opportunity of hearing to the parties concerned, if there is no legal impediment. Urgent certified copy of this order be granted on proper application.
