1. This matter is taken up through hybrid arrangement.

2. Heard.

3. The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking direction from this Court to the opposite parties to give her appointment against the post of Librarian in Stewart Science College, Cuttack.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner having required qualification applied to the Management of Stewart Science College, Cuttack for a suitable appointment. Considering her qualification and other activities, the Secretary of the College vide its office order No.1031 dated 28.09.2016 gave the petitioner appointment against the post of First Aider with a consolidated salary of Rs.6,000/- per month. Accordingly, the petitioner joined the said post on 01.10.2016. He further submits that the petitioner has challenged the action of the opposite parties in not considering her claim for appointment against the post of Librarian which is lying vacant and she has filed representation under Annexure-4 before the opposite party No.3- Principal, Stewart Science College, Cuttack on 05.11.2021. But the same is still pending for consideration. In course of hearing, learned

// 2 // counsel for the petitioner also submits that the said representation may be directed to be disposed of within a stipulated time.

In that view of the matter, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the claim of the petitioner, this Court disposes of the writ petition directing the opposite party No.3- Principal, Stewart Science College, Cuttack to consider and dispose of the representation under Annexure-4 filed by the petitioner by passing a reasoned and speaking order within a period of one month from the date of production/presentation of a certified copy of this order along with a copy of the writ petition.

6. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of.

7. Urgent certified copy of this order be granted on proper application.
