This matter is taken up through Hybrid Arrangement (Virtual /Physical Mode).

Heard learned counsel for the Petitioner as well as learned counsel for the State.

The present writ petition has been filed by the Petitioner with the following prayer:- It is therefore prayed that your Lordship may graciously be pleased to admit this writ application issue Rule NISI calling upon the respondent to show cause as to inaction of the Opp. Parties in disposisng the FORM under Annexure-5, series, thereby appointing the Petitioner under the Rehabilitation Assistance Scheme;
And after hearing the parties if it fails to satisfy the same may be made absolute directing the Opp.
Parties to dispose of the same in accordance with law.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the Petitioner that the Petitioner has been filed an application before the Managing
// 2 // Director, Odisha State of Consumer Co-operative Federation, Bhubaneswar-Opposite Party No.2 on 08.11.2021 and the said Opposite Party has not considered the grievance of the Petitioner as of now. He further submits that the limited prayer of the Petitioner is that a direction be given to the authorities to do the needful. 5.
Learned counsel for the State submits that he has no objection, if a direction is given to the authorities to consider the application of the Petitioner within a stipulated period of time as per relevant rules as applicable to the Petitioner.

Considering the limited nature of grievance of the Petitioner and the submissions made by the parties, this Court disposes of the writ petition with a direction to the Director, Odisha State of Consumer Co-operative Federation, Bhubaneswar-Opposite Party No.2 to consider and dispose of the application in Form-A pending before him in accordance with law within a period of two months from the date of production of certified copy of this order and necessary steps be taken as directed under rule and the Petitioner is directed to cooperate with the authorities by providing relevant documents to consider his case as per rule. It is needless to mention here that the representation of the Petitioner shall be considered by passing a speaking and reasoned order on the same. Any decision taken on the same shall be communicated to the Petitioner within a period of ten days thereafter.

With the aforesaid direction, the writ petition stands disposed of.

Urgent certified copy of this order be granted on proper application.
