This matter is taken up through Hybrid Arrangement (Video Conferencing/Physical Mode). Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State.

This is an application under section 438 of Cr.P.C. for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in connection with Chandbali P.S. Case No.73 of 2017 corresponding to G.R. Case No.235 of 2017 pending in the Court of learned J.M.F.C., Chandbali for the commission of the alleged offences punishable under sections 417/506/376 of the Indian Penal Code and section 3(2)(v) and 3(2)(va) of SC and ST (PoA) Act. Learned counsel for the State submitted that in the meantime, on completion of investigation, charge

// 2 // sheet has been submitted under sections 417/506/376 of the Indian Penal Code and section 3(2)(v) and 3(2)(va) of SC and ST (PoA) Act and after going through the 164 Cr.P.C. statement placed by the learned counsel for the State, while not inclining to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner, it is ordered that in the event the petitioner surrenders and moves for bail in the Court below within a period of four weeks from today, the same shall be disposed of by the learned Court below in accordance with law expeditiously. The case records shall be made available to the Court concerned for disposal of the bail application.

The ABLAPL stands disposed of.

The interim order dated 16.03.2021 stands vacated.

Urgent certified copy of this order be granted on proper application.
