This matter is taken up today in the National Lok Adalat through hybrid mode.

Mr.P.K.Nayak, learned counsel for the appellantsclaimants, Mr. G.P.Dutta, learned counsel for Respondent No.2Insurance Company and Mr.Tribikram Patnaik, Regional Manager-Legal, Reliance General Insurance Company Ltd. (authorized signatory of Respondent No.2) are present. The memo in support of the compromise between the Appellants and Respondent No.2 is kept in the record.

The learned Commissioner for Employee's Compensation & Deputy Labour Commissioner I/C, Rourkela

// 2 // had directed the Respondent No.2-Insurance Company to deposit Rs.4,36,652/- (Rupees four lakhs thirty six thousand six hundred fifty two only) in shape of demand draft with the Commissioner for Employee's Compensation-cum-Deputy Labour Commissioner, Rourkela within a period of 30 days from the date of receipt of the order, failing which, simple interest @ 12% shall be imposed on the above amount from the date of judgment till deposit is made, vide judgment dated 20.09.2016 passed in E.C. Case No.44 of 2012.

It is now agreed between the appellants-claimants and Respondent No.2-Insurance Company that a further consolidated amount of Rs.2,00,000/- (Rupees two lakhs only) shall be paid by the Insurance Company to the appellants-claimants within a period of eight weeks.

It is therefore directed that the Respondent No.2Insurance Company shall deposit the aforesaid consolidated amount of Rs.2,00,000/- (Rupees two lakhs only) within a period of eight weeks from today before the Commissioner. 6.

As the settlement is arrived at before the National Lok Adalat, no court fee shall be levied.

The FAO is accordingly disposed of.

Urgent certified copy of this order be granted on proper application.
