It is alleged that, the land of the petitioner, who is a person belonging to Scheduled Tribe community, has been acquired for laying pipeline under the Petroleum and Minerals Pipeline (Acquisition of Right of user in Land) Act, 1962. But the petitioner is stated to have not been paid with any compensation. It is further submitted that, though the petitioner had filed two representations vide Annexures- 6 series & 7, no action has been taken thereon.

Regard being had to the facts and submissions and the nature of relief sought for, the writ petition is disposed of, directing the petitioner to file a detailed representation, giving particulars of the land acquired before the Competent Authority GAIL (India) Ltd.- Opp. Party No.2, within a period of three weeks from today. If such a representation is filed, the same shall be disposed of in accordance with law, by passing a reasoned order, within a period of four months from the date of it's filing. If required, opportunity of personal hearing shall be given to the petitioner.

The writ petition is accordingly disposed of. 6.
As restrictions due to resurgence of COVID-19 situation are continuing, learned counsel for the parties may utilize a printout of the order available in the High Court's website, at par with certified copy, subject to attestation by the concerned Advocate, in the manner prescribed vide Court's Notice No.4587, dated 25th March, 2020, modified by Notice No.4798, dated 15th April, 2021, and Court's Office Order circulated vide Memo Nos.514 and 515, dated 7th January, 2022.
