This matter is taken up through Hybrid Arrangement (Virtual/Physical Mode).

Heard learned counsel for the Petitioner and the learned Additional Government Advocate.

The present writ application has been filed with the following prayer:

"It is therefore, prayed that, this Hon'ble Court may be graciously pleased to issue Rule Nisi calling upon the Opposite Parties to show cause as to why:- i) the action and decision of the Opposite Party No.3 shall not be declared illegal, unconstitutional and violating the rights of the Petitioner and same shall not be liable to be quashed;

ii) the Opposite Party No.3 shall not be directed to give the EPF in favour of the Petitioner from the commencement of service w.e.f. 01.07.1982 till 31.05.1997; iii) the Opposite Party no.3 shall not be directed to dispose of the representation under Annexure-3 within a stipulated period by giving opportunity of hearing to the Petitioner.

It is submitted by the learned counsel for the Petitioner that the Petitioner has submitted a representation before the Commissioner, E.P.F. Organisation, Regional Office, Keonjhar on 27.10.2021, which is stated to be pending before him and till date no action has been taken on the said representation. It is further submitted by the learned counsel for the Petitioner that a direction be issued to consider the representation of the Petitioner in the light of the letter dated 20.10.2003 under Annexure-2, within a stipulated period of time.

Considering the limited nature of grievance, this Court disposes of the writ application at the stage of admission, with a direction to Opposite Party no.3 to consider the representation of the Petitioner dated 27.10.2021 under Annexure-3 within two weeks from the date of production of certified copy of this order. The Opposite Party No.3 shall do well to consider the representation of the Petitioner expeditiously in accordance with law and shall dispose of the representation of the Petitioner by passing a speaking and reasoned order. The decision so taken shall be communicated to the Petitioners within two weeks thereafter.

With the aforesaid direction, the writ application stands disposed of.

Issue urgent certified copy as per Rules.
