Heard Mr. A.K. Nandi, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. D.K. Mohanty, learned Additional Standing Counsel. 3.
According to Mr. Nandi, the petitioner has filed this application for a direction to the I.I.C., Baipariguda Police Station (opposite party no.1) to register the complaint vide ICC Case No.32 of 2021 forwarded by the learned S.D.J.M., Jeypore under Section 156(3) of the Cr.P.C. by order dated 01.07.2021. 4.
Mr. Nandi submits that although the complaint being forwarded under Section 156(3) of Cr.P.C. by the court below has been received by the opposite party no.1, however, till date no further action has been taken at his end.

Mr. Mohanty fairly submits that once complaint is received by the opposite party no.1 being forwarded by the learned S.D.J.M., Jeypore under Section 156(3) of the Cr.P.C., he is under legal obligation to deal with the same in accordance
// 2 // with law and proceed further in the matter in finally submitting a report to the concerned court.

Considering the submissions made, the present application is disposed of with an observation that in the event, the opposite party no.1 has received the complaint being forwarded by the learned S.D.J.M., Jeypore in ICC Case No.32 of 2021 under Section 156(3) of the Cr.P.C., he would do well to take all such effective steps as provided in law in the matter of investigation and complete the same in accordance with law if there is no other legal impediment.
