Heard Mr. Nayak, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. H.M. Dhal, learned Additional Government Advocate. 2.
According to Mr. Nayak, the petitioner is aggrieved by the inaction of the authorities in settling a piece of land within the Bhubaneswar Municipal area in her favour though she has applied for the same on 13.01.2022 under Annexure-4 which is now pending before the Director of Estate G.A. and P.G. Department, Odisha (opposite party No.1). However, he fairly submits that with respect to the self same land, an appeal case No.36 of 2017(L) filed by the petitioner is pending before the same opposite party. In such background, he prays that a direction be issued to opposite party No.1 to take a decision on such application for settlement of land under Annexure-4 within a specific time period.

Considering the submissions made and without
// 2 // expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court directs the opposite party No.1 to take a decision on the above noted application of the petitioner under Annexure-4 in accordance with law keeping in mind the pendency of the above noted appeal within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order and communicate the result of such exercise to the petitioner.

Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of. 5.
Urgent certified copy of this order be granted on proper application in course of the day.
