Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Addl. Standing Counsel for the State.

The petitioner is in custody since 21.01.2022 in connection with Katarbaga P.S. Case No.06 of 2022 corresponding to G.R. Case No.260 of 2022 pending in the Court of learned S.D.J.M., Sambalpur for the alleged commission of offence under Sections 379/34 of IPC. 4.

Considering the allegation that the petitioner committed theft of diesel from the pipe line of IOCL and loaded the same in the tanker which was recovered from his possession, I am not inclined to allow the prayer for bail, which is therefore, rejected.

BLAPL is accordingly rejected.
