1. The matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

2. The petitioner has filed this writ petition challenging the research application verification report for faculties, furnished by the Dean & Principal, M.K.C.G., Medical College and Hospital, Berhampur in favour of opposite party No.5 for the post of Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

3. The petitioner apprehends that pursuant to the furnishing of evaluation of verification report of opposite party No.5, the petitioner is likely to be deprived of being considered by the Departmental Promotion Committee for the post of Professor in Obstetrics and Gynecology. The petitioner is sufficiently eligible and he has the required research publications in some of the Indexed Journals, during the tenure of Associate Professorship. The instant writ petition is quite premature as the selection process is yet to be complete. This kind of writ petition filed by the petitioner is likely to influence the outcome of the D.P.C. This Court constraints to warn

4. At this stage, the learned counsel seeks to withdraw the writ petition.
