Earlier also on 27.10.2022, none appeared for the petitioner and learned counsel appearing for opposite party no.3 was directed to obtain instructions with regard to present position of the land in question. In compliance thereof, learned counsel appearing for opposite party no.3 stated that the proposal for acquisition of land has been dropped.

In view of the above, no cause of action survives for the petitioner. Therefore, the writ petition merits no consideration and the same is dismissed.
