This matter is taken up through Hybrid arrangement (video conferencing/physical mode). This is an application for extension of time to surrender in the Court below as per order dated 27.10.2022 passed in I.A. No.1940 of 2022.

It appears that the earlier anticipatory bail application of the petitioner was disposed of on 16.03.2022 giving four weeks' time and that order was extended as per order dated 27.10.2022 in I.A. No.1940 of but the petitioner has not surrendered within that time.

After perusing the grounds taken in the interim

// 2 // application and on hearing the learned counsel for the respective parties, I am inclined to extend the surrender date till 11.08.2023 subject to condition that the petitioner shall deposit a sum of Rs.2,000/- (rupees two thousand) in the Advocate's Welfare Fund of Jajpur Bar Association. It is made clear that no further extension shall be granted to the petitioner. The surrender of the petitioner shall be accepted subject to verification of the deposit slip by the learned S.D.J.M., Jajpur.

The rest part of the order dated 16.03.2022 remains unaltered.

Accordingly, the I.A. is disposed of.

Urgent certified copy of this order be granted on proper application.
