Heard Ms. Manasi Mohapatra, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. S.N. Nayak, learned Additional Standing Counsel. 3.
The petitioner has filed this writ petition to quash the letter dated 30.12.2021 issued by the Tahasildar, Soro vide Annexure-8 regarding illegal demand notice of royalty and penalty. 4.
Mr. S.N. Nayak, learned Additional Standing Counsel contended that against the said demand notice of royalty and penalty, an appeal lies to the Collector, Balasore-opposite party no.2 in view Rule 46(1) of the Orissa Minor Minerals Concession Rules, 2016. 5.
In view of the above, the writ petition stands disposed of permitting the petitioner to pursue the remedy by approaching the appropriate forum in accordance with law.
