This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

This application under Section 482 of Cr.P.C. has been filed by the Petitioner with a prayer to quash the order dated 21st January, 2022 passed by the learned Additional District & Sessions Judge, Bhadrak in Criminal Revision No.2 of 2021 confirming the order dated 18th January, 2019 passed by the learned J.M.F.C., Basudevpur in Criminal Misc. Case No.78 of 2020, arising out of 2(a)C.C. No.68 of 2020.

Learned counsel for the Petitioner submits that the Petitioner does not want to press this application, but a direction may be given to the Authorized Officer-cumSuperintendent of Excise, Bhadrak to dispose of Confiscation

// 2 // Case No.82 of 2020-21, which is pending before him, expeditiously.

Considering the submission of the learned counsel for the Petitioner, this Court dispose of this Criminal Misc. Case with a direction to the Authorized Officer-cumSuperintendent of Excise, Bhadrak to dispose of the Confiscation Case No.82 of 2020-21 not later than three months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
