Heard Mr.U.C.Jena, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. D.K.Mohanty, learned Additional Standing Counsel. 3.

According to Mr.Jena the CRLMP has been filed making a grievance with regard to the conduct of Sub-Inspector of Police, Bhadrak Rural Police Station who it is alleged used abusive and filthy language and assaulted the petitioner and her brother while they were going on a bike. He further submits that though the petitioner has filed a grievance petition on 1.11.2021 under Annexure-1 before the Superintendent of Police, Bhadrak (opposite party No.4) sent though registered post on the same date however till date no action has been taken on the same. In such background, he prays that necessary directions be issued to opposite party No.4 to take a decision on the above noted grievance petition within a specific time period. 4.

Considering the submissions made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court

// 2 // directs the Superintendent of Police, Bhadrak (opposite party No.4) to take a decision on the grievance petition under Annexure-1 in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order, if in the meantime, the same has not been disposed of and communicate the result of such exercise to the petitioner. 5.

Accordingly, this CRLMP is disposed of.

Urgent certified copy of this order be granted on proper application.
