1. The matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners have not been granted the annual increment of 3% in the enhanced block grant emolument as per the provisions of the Director, Department of Higher Education, Bhubaneswar order No.33551 dated 23.09.2016 in pursuance of the provisions made in Government Notification No.20335/Higher Education dated 23.07.2016. He further submits that the similarly placed persons granted such benefit.

3. In such view of the matter, the petitioners were constrained to approach this Court vide W.P.(C) No.27605 of 2021 on 07.09.2021. On 16.09.2021, this Court directed the Director, Department of Higher Education, Bhubaneswar to dispose of the representation of the petitioners within a period of three months. However, the said representation is still pending before the said authority.

4. In such view of the matter, let the Director, Department of Higher Education, Bhubaneswar dispose of their representations dated 30.09.2021, 17.03.2021 and 01.10.2021 in Annexure-2 within a period of one month from the date of presentation of this order.

5. The CONTC. is disposed of accordingly.
