1.This matter is taken up through hybrid arrangement.

2. Heard.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was appointed as Assistant Teacher, Janasakti High School, Nuapada in the year 1984. Since he was having B.Ed degree prior to his appoint, he had promote to the post of Junior S.E.S. Cadre in the year 1987. But he was promoted only in the year 1998. He further submits that though similarly situated employees in different Educational Districts approached the Court of law for a direction, they have been appointed as Junior S.C.S. But the petitioner was excluded from the said benefit. He further submits that, the petitioner had approached the

// 2 // authorities on 02.10.2021, but his representation is still pending.

In such view of the matter, the District Education Officer, Nuapada is directed to dispose of the representation of the petitioner within a period of one month from the date of submission of a copy of this order along with copy of the Writ Petition, considering the grievance of the petitioner and pass a reasoned order and communicate the result thereof to the petitioner.
