CONTC NOs. 686 & 687 of 2020 These matters are taken up through hybrid mode. The issues involved in both the matters are same and are dealt with by this common order.

Mr. Samantaray, learned AGA submits that the petitioner had laid a challenge to his transfer as Inspector of Police from Nandipada P.S., in the district of Keonjhar to the G.R.P., Cuttack, which was not accepted by this Court vide order dated 28.2.2019 passed in W.P.(C) NO.4651 of 2019. However, liberty was granted that if the petitioner joins at his place of posting at G.R.P., Cuttack, in that event he would be allowed to join his place of posting. He further submits that the petitioner was directed to join at G.R.P., Cuttack on 16.6.2020, where he is stated to be continuing till today.

// 2 // In view of the above, we find no ground to invoke our contempt jurisdiction. Both the contempt petitions stand dropped.
