Heard Mr.A.C.Behera, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.H.M.Dhal, learned Addl. Government Advocate. 3.

At the outset on oral prayer, Mr.Behera, learned counsel for the petitioner is permitted to correct the description of opposite party No.2 in Court today.

According to Mr.Behera the petitioner is aggrieved by inaction of the authorities more particularly the Superintending Engineer, Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Circle, Balangir (opposite party No.5) in paying him compensation though his land has been acquired in connection with construction of Mega Pipe Water Supply Project executed as per direction of opposite party Nos. 6 and 7.

During course of hearing, Mr. Behera submits that liberty may be granted to the petitioner to move the Superintending Engineer, Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Circle, Balangir (opposite party No.5) in the matter by filing a grievance petition and the said opposite party be directed to take a decision on such motion at an early date.

Considering the submissions made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court grants liberty to the petitioner to file a grievance petition before opposite party No.5 through registered post within a period of two weeks from today. In the event, such a petition is filed along with a copy of this order, the opposite party No.5 would do well to take a decision on the same in accordance with law within a period of three months from the date of receipt of such grievance petition and communicate the result of such exercise to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. 8.

Urgent certified copy of the order be granted on proper application.
