Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Addl. Standing Counsel for the State.

The petitioner is in custody since 07.11.2021 in connection with Lahunipada P.S. Case No.179 of 2021 corresponding to G.R. Case No.640 of 2021 pending in the Court of learned S.D.J.M., Bonai for the alleged commission of offence under Sections 395/120-B of IPC read with Section 25(1-B)(a)/27 of Arms Act. 4.

Having regard to the submissions made, the materials on record, the period of detention already undergone and the fact that the petitioner appears to have been implicated in the case on the basis of confessional statement of one of the co-accused persons, I am inclined to allow the prayer for bail. Let the petitioner be released on bail on such terms and conditions as the court in seisin over the matter may deem fit and proper to impose including the condition that he shall personally appear before the IIC of Lahunipada Police Station on every Monday at 10.30 a.m. for a period of six months and also appear before the Court in seisin over

the matter on each date of posting of the case without fail. 5.

BLAPL is accordingly disposed of.
