The Petitioner in this writ petition prays for a direction to cancel the settlement of Plot Nos.633, 634 and 635 under Khata No.1263 situated in mouza Guamal under Tihidi Tahasil in the district of Bhadrak in the name of Opposite Party No.4, namely, Akhaya Padhi.

In course of hearing, Mr. Pattnaik, learned counsel submits that since the Petitioner has remedy of appeal to challenge the settlement made under the Orissa Government Land Settlement Act, 1962, he may be permitted to withdraw the writ petition to avail the statutory remedy.

In view of such submission, this writ petition is disposed of as withdrawn.
