This matter is taken up through Hybrid Arrangement Order No.
(Virtual/Physical Mode).

Heard learned counsel for the Petitioner as well as learned counsel for the State.

By filing the writ petition, Mr.Behera, learned counsel appearing for the Petitioner brings to the notice of the Court that even though the Voluntary Retirement Application at the instance of the Petitioner involved herein has been accepted and there is release of partial benefit under the Voluntary Retirement Scheme, but for long time there is no release of admitted balance amount. It is alleged that in spite of repeated request of the Petitioner, the balance amount is not being released.

Considering the entitlement of the Petitioner, for the acceptance of Voluntary Retirement Application already therewith
// 2 // and for the partial release of VRS benefit, this Court directs the Opposite Party Nos.1 & 3 to release the balance amount arising out of acceptance of Voluntary Retirement Application, in favour of the Petitioner within a period of one month, failure of which, the outstanding amount shall carry 7% interest from the date of entitlement.

With the aforesaid observation and direction, the writ petition stands disposed of.
