This matter is taken up through Hybrid Arrangement (Virtual /Physical Mode).

Heard learned counsel for the Petitioner and the learned Additional Government Advocate.

The present writ application has been filed with a prayer for a direction to the opposite parties to release the subsistence allowance as is due and admissible under the relevant Rules. 4.

Learned counsel for the Petitioner submits that the Petitioner has submitted a representation before the Sub-Collector, Gunupur, Opposite Party No.4, on 18.12.2020 under Annexure-3. It is stated that the same is pending as of now. He further submits that if a direction is issued to Opposite Party No.4 to consider and dispose of the representation of the Petitioner within a stipulated period of time, then the grievance of the Petitioner shall be redressed. 5.

Learned Additional Government Advocate submits that he does not have any objection if a direction is issued to consider the representation of the Petitioner within a stipulated period of time. 6.

In such view of the matter, consider the limited nature of

// 2 // grievance of the Petitioner, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to Opposite Party No.4 to consider the representation of the Petitioner within a period of one month from the date of production of certified copy of this order. Further, in the event it is found that the Petitioner is entitled to subsistence allowance under the Rules, the same shall be disbursed in his favour immediately within the aforesaid period.

With the aforesaid observation, the writ application stands disposed of.
