This matter is taken up through Hybrid Arrangement (Virtual /Physical Mode).

Heard learned counsel for the Petitioner as well as learned counsel for the State.

The present writ petition has been filed by the petitioner with a limited grievance to direct the Opposite Parties to extend similar benefits of revised Rigman-cum-Pump Operator scale of pay of Rs.975-1660/- w.e.f. 22.04.1992 and subsequent pay revision under the ORSP Rules, 1998, 2008 and 2017 and all consequential benefits with arrears in the light of the decisions vide Annexure-4 within a stipulated period of time.

Learned counsel for the State submits that he has no objection, if a direction is given to the authorities to consider the representation of the Petitioner within a stipulated period of time. 5.
Considering the submissions made, this Court disposes of the writ petition with a direction to the Director of Geology, Odisha,
// 2 // Bhubaneswar, Heads of the Department Building, BhubaneswarOpposite Party No.2 to consider the pending representation of the Petitioner dated 22.10.2021 under Annexure-6 in the light of the order passed by the Orissa Administrative Tribunal as well as letter of the Director, Geology, which have been filed herewith as Annexures-4 and 5 to the writ petition, within a period of eight weeks from the date of production of certified copy of this order in accordance with law. It is needless to mention here that the representation of the Petitioner shall be considered by a speaking and reasoned order on the same. Any decision taken on the same shall be communicated to the Petitioner within a period of ten days thereafter. 6.
With the aforesaid direction, the writ petition stands disposed of.

Urgent certified copy of this order be granted on proper application.
