Heard Mr. J. Kamila, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. S.N. Nayak, learned Additional Standing Counsel. 3.

The petitioner has filed this writ petition to quash the demand notice dated 08.02.2022 issued by the Tahasildar, Soro vide Annexure-8. 4.

Since against imposition of penalty appeal lies, this Court is not inclined to entertain this writ petition. However, liberty is granted to the petitioner to pursue his remedy as per Rule 46(1) of the Orissa Minor Minerals Concession Rules, 2016 before the appropriate forum in accordance with law.
