This matter is taken up through video conferencing mode. 2.

Heard Mr. D.K. Sahu, learned counsel for the petitioners and Mr. A.K. Nanda, learned Additional Government Advocate. 3.

According to Mr. Sahu, though pursuant to the notice dated 27.12.2021 under Annexure-3 issued by the Tahasildar, Kaniha in Lease Case No.07 of 2021, the petitioner Nos.1 & 4 have submitted their objection on 07.01.2022 under Annexure-5 and though the same has been acknowledged by the Office of the Tahasildar, Kaniha on the same day however, till date nothing has been done in the matter. In such background, he prays that that a direction be issued to the Tahasildar, Kanhia (opposite party No.4) to take a decision on the above noted representation within a specific time period. 4.

Considering the submissions made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court directs the Tahasildar, Kanhia (opposite party No.4) to take a decision on the above noted objection of the petitioner Nos.1 & 4

// 2 // under Annexure-5 in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order after giving reasonable opportunity of hearing to petitioners Nos.1 & 4 and opposite party No.5, if in the meantime, the same has not been disposed of and communicate the result of such exercise to the petitioner No.1, who in turn is directed to share such information with other petitioners. 5.

Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of. 6.

Urgent certified copy of this order be granted on proper application in course of the day.
