This matter is taken up through Hybrid Arrangement (Virtual /Physical Mode).

Heard learned counsel for the Petitioner and the learned Additional Government Advocate.

The present writ application has been filed by the Petitioner seeking for a direction for fixation of pay of the Petitioner in the Pay Band IV and to extend all incidental and consequential financial and other benefits under 7th UGC Pay scale despite the order of the Government of Odisha.

Learned counsel for the Petitioner submits that the Petitioner has submitted a representation before the Registrar, OUAT, Bhubaneswar, Opposite Party No.2 on 28.01.2022 under Annexure-5 highlighting his grievance, which is pending for consideration. He further submits that if a direction is issued to Opposite Party No.2 to consider and dispose of the representation of the Petitioner within a stipulated period of time, then the grievance of the Petitioner shall be redressed.

Learned Additional Government Advocate submits that he

// 2 // does not have any objection if a direction is issued to the Opposite Party No.2 to consider the representation of the Petitioner within a stipulated period of time.

In such view of the matter, considering the limited nature of grievance of the Petitioner, this writ petition is disposed of at the stage of admission with a direction to Opposite Party No.1 to consider the representation of the Petitioner within a period of two months from the date of production of certified copy of this order. Further, the Opposite Party No.1 is directed to dispose of the representation of the Petitioner strictly in accordance with law by passing a speaking and reasoned order. The decision so taken on the representation of the Petitioner shall be communicated to the Petitioner within two weeks thereafter.

With the aforesaid observation the writ application is disposed of.

Issue urgent certified copy as per Rules.
