This matter is taken up through video conferencing mode. 2.

Heard Mr. M. Das, learned counsel for the petitioners and Mr. H.M. Dhal, learned Additional Government Advocate. 3.

According to Mr. Das, the petitioners are aggrieved by the inaction of the authorities in allotting the shop rooms already constructed by the Executive Officer, Balliguda N.A.C. (opposite party No.4) over Plot No.844 at Koligacha Chhak of Baliguda in their favour though they have applied for the same. Their grievances is that they have been carrying on their business on the said plot for many years but later on they were evicted from their place of business in the year 2021 in order to construct the shop rooms. He further submits that though highlighting all their grievances, the petitioners have approached the Executive Officer, Balliguda N.A.C. (opposite party No.4) on 15.01.2022 by filing representations under Annexure-4 series sent through registered post however, till date nothing has been done in the matter. In such background, he prays that that a direction be

// 2 // issued to the Executive Officer, Balliguda N.A.C. (opposite party No.4) to take decision on the above noted representations of the petitioners within a specific time period.

Considering the submissions made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court directs Executive Officer, Balliguda N.A.C. (opposite party No.4) to take decision on the above noted representations of the petitioners under Annexure-4 series in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order, if in the meantime, the same has not been disposed of and communicate the result of such exercise to the individual petitioners.

Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of. 6.

Urgent certified copy of this order be granted on proper application in course of the day.
