Heard Mr. A.K. Tarai, learned counsel for the petitioner, Mr. B.S. Rayaguru, learned Central Government Counsel and Mr. B. Mohanty, learned Standing Counsel for School & Mass Education Department. 3.

The petitioner has filed this application claiming for appointment as Education Volunteer under the EGS Scheme evolved by the Government.

Mr. B. Mohanty, learned Standing Counsel for School and Mass Education Department submits that the EGS scheme has already been abolished, therefore, the question of giving employment to the petitioner as Education Volunteer does not arise.

In view of such position, since the matter is pending before the Government, the petitioner is permitted to pursue his remedy before the Government, if he is so advised.
