The petitioner was granted bail as per order passed by this Court on 22.09.2022 imposing certain conditions including the condition of paying Rs.20 lakhs in equal monthly installments within a period of one year.

It is submitted by Mr. S.Mohanty, learned counsel for the petitioner that the monthly installment comes to Rs.1.67 lakhs and nine such installments have already been paid. Presently because of certain financial difficulties he is unable to pay the said amount every month. It is therefore prayed that the amount of monthly installments be reduced to Rs. 1 lakh with consequential increase in the period of payment.

Considering the fact that the petitioner has proved his bonafides by substantially complying with the condition imposed by this Court, I am inclined to allow the prayer.

It is directed that the petitioner shall pay equally monthly installment of Rs.1 lakh till the remaining amount is completely paid.

Mr. Mohanty further submits that the condition imposed for not leaving the territorial jurisdiction of the Court may also be waived as the petitioner wants to visit some holy places. 7.
