This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

The I.A. has been filed seeking modification of order dated 23.08.2022.

The petitioner was granted bail as per order passed by this Court on 23.08.2022 on the condition of furnishing cash security of Rs.50,000/-.

It is submitted that that because of his poverty, the petitioner is not able to arrange the required amount to be furnished towards cash security. As a result, he is unable to be released on bail.

Having regard to the submissions as above and the fact that the petitioner has been in custody for more than one year despite being released on bail, I am inclined to take a lenient view by modifying the condition directing deposit of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) only as cash security with all other conditions remain intact.
