1. This matter is taken up through hybrid arrangement.

2. Heard.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is serving as Matron in Kishore Chandra Nodal Vidyapitha, Gania, in the district of Nayagarh. He has completed M.A. in English with 62.5 % marks which is sufficient for the eligibility criteria prescribed for the post of Lecturer in +2 colleges. He further submits that the petitioner has made a representation to the opposite party No.2- Director, S.T. and S.C. Development Department, Minorities & Backward Classes Welfare Department, Odisha, Bhubaneswar regarding promotion to the post of Lecturer in English of +2 streams. But the same is pending since 29.10.2021.

4. In such view of the matter, the opposite party No.2- Director, S.T. and S.C. Development Department, Minorities & Backward Classes Welfare Department, Odisha, Bhubaneswar is directed to dispose of the representation of the petitioner by passing a reasoned order within a period of two months from the date of production/presentation of a certified copy of this order along with a copy of this writ petition.

5. Accordingly, this writ petition stands disposed of.

6. Urgent certified copy of this order be granted on proper application.
