The grievance of the Petitioner is that though the deceased Urmila Pradhan, who happens to be the daughter of the Petitioner, died in electrocution due to negligence of the Opposite Parties-Distribution Company, but they have not been paid compensation in spite of the representation made vide Annexure-5. Hence, she has filed this writ petition seeking a writ of mandamus directing the Opposite Parties to pay the compensation.

During the course of hearing, learned counsel for the Petitioner submits that it would suffice if Opposite Party
// 2 // No.2-The Commissioner, Odisha Electricity Regulatory Commission, Bhubaneswar is directed to consider the aforesaid representation made in this regard and pass necessary order on the same.

Considering the aforesaid facts and submissions made, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merit of such representation, dispose of this writ petition directing the Opposite Party No.2-The Commissioner, Odisha Electricity Regulatory Commission, Bhubaneswar to consider and dispose of the said representation made vide Annexure-5, if the same has not been disposed of yet and intimate the decision thereof to the Petitioner not later than eight weeks of receipt of certified copy of this order. 6.
Urgent certified copy of this order be granted on proper application.
