This matter is taken up through Hybrid Arrangement (Virtual/Physical Mode).

Heard learned counsel for the Petitioners and learned counsel for the State.

This writ petition has been filed with the following relief: "It is therefore prayed that this Hon'ble Court may graciously be pleased to consider the facts stated in the writ petition, admit the same, issue Rule NISI calling upon the Opposite Parties to show cause :- i) Why the petitioners shall not be allowed by the Opposite Parties to continue as Technical Consultants in their respective place of posting with all consequential service and financial benefits;" 4.

Learned counsel for the Petitioners submits that a representation in this regard has been submitted to the Principal Secretary to Govt., Panchayati Raj and Drinking Water Department, Odisha, Opposite Party No.1, which according to the Petitioner is still pending consideration.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and considering the limited nature of request involved in this matter, the writ petition

// 2 // stands disposed of with a direction to the Principal Secretary to Govt., Panchayati Raj and Drinking Water Department, Odisha, Opposite Party No.1 to consider the representation of the Petitioner vide Annexure-6, in accordance with law, if the same is still pending and take a lawful decision thereon, taking into account the grounds taken in the writ petition, within a period of two months weeks from the date of communication of a certified copy of this order along with a copy of the writ petition by the Petitioner, giving opportunity of hearing to the Petitioners by passing a speaking and reasoned order thereon. Decision so taken be communicated to the Petitioner within a period of two weeks thereafter.

With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of.

Issue urgent certified copy as per rules.
