This matter is taken up through Hybrid Arrangement Order No.

(Virtual/Physical Mode).

Heard learned counsel for both the parties.

The writ petition has been filed with the following relief: "It is therefore prayed that this Hon'ble Court may graciously be pleased to consider the facts stated in the writ petition, admit the same, issue Rule NISI calling upon the Opp. Parties to show cause:- (i) Why the petitioners shall not be appointed/engaged as Technical Consultants by the Opp. Parties with immediate effect and with all consequential service and financial benefits as they have been successfully selected in the due procedure of selection and offer letters have been issued to them;"

It is further submitted by learned counsel for the Petitioner that as per the Notification received through RTI vide letter dated 25.1.2021, the issue is pending before the Government for consideration. In such view of the matter, learned counsel for the Petitioner seeks liberty to file fresh representation.

Considering the limited nature of grievance involved herein, this Court while disposing of the writ petition directs the Petitioner to file fresh representation to the Principal Secretary, Panchayati Raj and Drinking Water Department, Bhubaneswar, Opposite Party No.1 within a period of two weeks hence along with certified copy of the order. In such event, the Opposite Party No.1 shall consider and dispose of the representation of the Petitioner strictly in accordance with law by passing a speaking and reasoned order within a period of three months thereafter. Any decision taken on the representation shall be communicated to the Petitioner within two weeks thereafter. 6.

With the above direction, the writ petition stands disposed of.

Issue urgent certified copy as per rules.
